One of our favorite family outings of the whole year is going to a Christmas tree farm and cutting our own tree. This year a nice mexican man with a chain saw offered to cut ours down. It was awesome.
I love the tree hunting trips! We don't have tree cutting places here so much. We got a tree from home depot and it kept falling over! long story, short - I dragged the real tree to the side of the house and went and bought a fake tree! I'm sad to not have the real tree, but in many ways it is easier! I had just had it that day! I do miss the smell though. I need an evergreen candle maybe? Great pictures!

We miss that so much! Plus the smell of it in your house is the BEST. Its just not the same...I'm jealous! :)
